I grew up in one of the few remaining villages left in London, Highgate Village. There we had many beautiful green expanses such as the famous Hampstead Heath.
Having had dogs in my family for as long as I can remember, I recall - as a child - spending many hours learning the various different breeds.
I recollect with great affection our two dogs, one named Morris who was a cross between a Dalmatian and Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Slo Jo, a very cheeky Jack Russell cross. Most recently we had a lovely Saluki cross who we adopted from a rescue centre and currently have Lily a Borzoi cross who is also a rescue.
From our own experience with Lucy and Lily, we know how comforting it is to have the services of a good dog walking service. This affords the owner quality time to enjoy their dog knowing that their pet is being well cared for in their absence.
After years working in the entertainment industry - most recently as a theatrical agent - I decided to leave it all behind and along with David, we set up 'The Urban Dog Walker'.
